Unterkunfts beschreibung Located just 5 minutes walking distance from the town square of Krumau (Cesky Krumlov), right above the Plesivec Stairs, secluded within the island of the old Plesivec Square, Dilettante's Hangout is a home to an eclectic and eccentric artist Matya Dio, offering three non smoking en-suite accommodations for the vacation rental, Nirvana Boudoir, Buddha Suite and Zen Den. Nirvana Boudoir: The king sized wooden chunky colonial Mexican four poster bed, two large comfortable leather chocolate coloured archchairs, massive wooden Spanish wardrobe and the exotic oriental coffee bedside table blend beautifully, creating a cozy, comfortable double bedroom. En suite bathroom is mosaic tiled and spacious, offering a bathtub with a shower, extra-large sink, toilet and a bidet. Incense and candles create that perfect atmosphere for relaxing, reflecting the red walls in the diffusion of dimmed lighting. Bedroom window overlooks the patio garden. Linen and towels are provided. Nirvana Boudoir is available for both single travellers or couples at 990 Czech Crowns per night per room, inclusive of tax. Buddha Suite: The standard double sized wooden/metal bed, solid teak wardrobe and chunky Indonesian bedside table, merge well and turn the basement into a comfortable double bedroom with chocolate and grey coloured walls. Egg shaped custom designed open hearth fireplace faces the double settee with an oriental rug in between, ideal for relaxing on those chilly days. Natural coloured cane rug-runners complete the peaceful feeling. Kitchenette is equipped with a toaster, coffee maker and a kettle. En suite bathroom is spacious, offering a shower cubicle, Spanish sink, and a toilet. Incense and candles are not missing, and although situated underground, this apartment has enough natural light seeping through three small windows and in addition it is also equipped with many lamps. Bedroom windows peek onto the flooring of the patio garden. This apartment is unsuitable for mobility impaired persons, elderly, infirm or anyone with a walking disability, as it has steep and winding stairs. Linen and towels are provided. Buddha Suite is available for both single travellers or couples at 890 Czech Crowns per night per room, inclusive of tax. Zen Den : Twin Zen Den bedroom offers accommodation for 2 persons in single beds. This bedroom is located on the first floor, it has a spectacular view over the mountains and rooftops of Krumau (Cesky Krumlov). Walls are dark chocolate and light brown coloured. Dark red curtains create a cosy feeling, outlining both sides of the bedroom, on one end being the sleek leather two seater sofa and on the other the sleeping area. Teak wardrobe, low custom made bedside table, bedside lamps and soft rugs furnish the room, lending it a very serene , peaceful and calm feeling. The private bathroom is located on the ground floor and has a glass doored shower cubicle, toilet and Spanish sink. Linen and towels are provided. Zen Den twin room is priced at 790 Czech Crowns per night per room inclusve of tax. Facilities: Open plan fully equipped Kitchen - Sitting room serves dual purpose as a meeting place cum Artist's Club and a communal lounge. Please feel free to sink down into the heavy set leather sofas, enjoy the hot wine listening to the cackling flames in open hearth fireplace and if you feel inspired, pick up the guitar and strum up a tune. Incense and candles are ever present, creating that perfect atmosphere offering you the chance to read during the cold evenings and rainy days, and original paintings are lining the walls. If you don't have a book to read or want to spend the evening indoors, I have an extensive selection of DVDs, that you may borrow and watch on your computer screen.
