To the north is Magic Mountain and Universal Studios (10 minutes away), to the south is Disneyland and the Queen Mary, heading West offers Beaches and the Venice Boardwalk, and due east is downtown Los Angeles (CA) and Chinatown. Melrose itself is a fantastic place to shop, eat, beautiful people watch and check out the latest worldwide trends in clothing, music, fashion and food, easily, safely and all on a traveller's budget.

To check in to a dorm you will asked to provide proof of current international travel. Please DO NOT RESERVE A DORM WITHOUT PROOF OF CURRENT INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL, you will not be accepted at check in, sorry. Please reserve a private room through our web site if you have no proof of international travel. People under the age of 16 are not permitted to stay in dorm rooms. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone. Couples must reserve two beds.
